Hi there and thanks for stopping by! My name is Jennifer Dovey and I am a high school English teacher, freelance writer and soon to be author of children’s books.

I have taught in education on and off since 2001. I have three children and a gorgeous pet dog named Moo! I started this site to promote what I love to do: reading and writing.

I love encouraging young people to read and write to the best of their ability. From my experience working with children and teenagers, I know that reading can sometimes be a battle. It can be especially challenging for children with special needs and learning differences.

My aim is to share what I have learnt over the years to help others enhance their reading and writing skills. I also want to share my stories as I believe that good books are a blessing.

I hope that my books will bring joy to others and engage their heart strings and intellect.
